International School of Science, Technology, and the Arts
A MESSAGE FROM THE ISSTA PRESIDENT AND CEO
Future Students, Parents, and Greater Orlando Community:
As we begin to re-open our schools and continue to face the COVID19/CORONA VIRUS pandemic, we will also see a very different school year in 2020-2021. This means, schools will become a hybrid teaching and learning environment where some teachers will work at the school-site, and others will work online. This also means entry into school premises and buildings will be staggered, classroom settings will have sitting 6 feet apart, and lunch will be ordered online.
I continue to stress the utmost importance in following guidance from the CDC and our medical professionals until a vaccine is found . This means, wash your hands several times a day, cough into your elbow, don't touch your face, stay 6 feet away from other people (social distancing), and stay home if possible. It is also very important to understand local, state, and federal orders and laws, already in place, help us achieve a safer community environment.
I highly encourage everyone visiting this page to also visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website for the latest information on COVID19/CORONA VIRUS.
Together we will conquer this menace.
Dr. Jorge R. Diaz
