About Us

The International School of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics is a private K-12 day and boarding school opening September 2029 on an 90 acre campus in Lake Nona, Orlando, Florida.

ISSTA was founded on a single conviction: the world our students will inherit demands a fundamentally different kind of education. Not a traditional prep school with technology added on, but a school designed from the ground up for an era defined by artificial intelligence, global collaboration, and rapid change.

Our Mission

To foster a positive learning environment, while using cutting-edge technology, by encouraging students to be curious and creative as they experiment and seek out new challenges — shaping them to be responsible and contributing leaders of tomorrow's international workforce.

What Sets ISSTA Apart

ISSTA is among the first K-12 schools in the nation to embed AI literacy, ethics, and application into every level of the curriculum — not as an elective, but as a core competency.

Our students choose from three internationally recognized diploma pathways — Advanced Placement (AP), the Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE), and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Few American schools offer all three under one roof.

Career and technical education is built in, not bolted on. From Aviation and Aerospace Engineering to Global Sustainability, Innovation and Incubation, and Robotics, our programs give students hands-on, career-aligned experience before they graduate.

ISSTA is a multilingual, university-preparatory school built for the global workforce. With an on-campus boarding program and families from across the United States and around the world, our students learn alongside peers who bring different languages, perspectives, and cultures into every classroom.

A Campus Built for the Future

Our Lake Nona campus features a 150,000+ square-foot academic building, a fitness and aquatics center, two auditoriums seating more than 1,300, outdoor recreation and athletic fields, and student residences — all within one of the most innovative communities in the country, home to the USTA National Campus, KPMG, the Orlando VA Medical Center, and the UCF College of Medicine.

A $260 Million Investment in Education

ISSTA represents a total community investment of $260 million — a commitment to building not just a school, but a model for what K-12 education can become.
