BOARD TRUSTEE

Mrs. Maribel Rodriguez, a decorated veteran, pubic administrative leader, internationally recognized nutrition advocate, and contractor who for several years served as a top administrator at FEMA, and led a national and international effort in support of wellness and nutrition.

She has served our country honorably as a Marine Corps Lead Project Officer, US/NATO Army Representative, White House Education Program Manager, and other military defense agencies where she provided input to the Joint staff and the Department of the Army, and reported to Congress. She has also served our country as Chemical Officer at Pentagon Ops Center, Executive Officer, and Company Commander & Brigade Chemical Officer in Germany. If this was not enough, she is an entrepreneur having founded Eagle Pointe Custom Contractors where she successfully completed 100 residential construction projects.

Maribel holds a Master of Science degree in Strategic Studies and National Defense from the prestigious US Army War College, a second Master's degree in Health Care from CMU, and was a Fellow at the National Hispana Leadership Institute. Maribel also holds a General Class A Contractor License, is Board certified in Nutrition, and has also taught at Brevard County, Community College in Florida as Associate Professor in Health and Nutrition.

Ms. Rodriguez was invited to participate on the ISSTA Board and she is voluntarily serving as Board Member and Chairperson of the Committee on Construction and Sustainability.
